Bio
Hiro Fujimoto is an Assistant Professor at Heidelberg University. He received his Ph.D. in the History of Science from the University of Tokyo in 2019. He works on the history of medicine in modern Japan from a global perspective and has been exploring how American medical missionaries and Japanese Christian physicians conducted medical work in Japan.
